We’re excited to announce the arrival of Tobin Scientific’s first fully electric fleet vehicle!

More than simply a new addition to our fleet, this electric van represents a tangible step forward in our commitment to sustainable operations, reducing our carbon footprint, and being a responsible partner to the life sciences companies we serve.

This isn’t an EV that sits in the parking lot. It’s going to work. Every day.

The van will travel between eight building locations every day, operating for approximately eight hours on a dedicated city-driving route. With an estimated range of around 200 miles, smart technology designed for efficient city driving, and features that help optimize charging, this vehicle is built to handle the demands of a busy workday.

And because it is fully electric, it produces zero tailpipe emissions while on the road.

The environmental impact can add up quickly. Based on our estimated usage, the new electric van is expected to replace approximately 1,760 gallons of diesel consumption each year compared to a comparable diesel vehicle and reduce an estimated 20 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Meaningful impact from one vehicle!
